The Hernando Historical Museum Association has proudly operated solely on volunteer participation for over 40 years, from the Board of Directors to the individual museum’s docents.  Our volunteers are the lifeblood of this organization.  Without volunteer participation, the HHMA would be unable to preserve these historic places within Brooksville, and educate our guests about the history of Brooksville.

We are looking for volunteers for all three of our museums.  If you enjoy history, love meeting new people, preservation, and want to contribute to the community, I encourage you to consider volunteering for the Hernando Historical Museum Association (HHMA) at one or more of our museums and become part of our family. Below are the three museums we operate, with a link to become a volunteer under each one.

Once you submit an application, we will reach out to you and discuss the details.
